Presenting engagement photos of Erin & Glenn. We had a fantastic time at Meridian Hill Park in Washington, D.C. and even stopped by the Drum Circle! The rain held off and the light was great. Looking forward to their wedding in December!
Claire and Dylan are awesome, and they picked an equally awesome location for their engagement photos. Here are a few of my favorites, taken on Theodore Roosevelt Island in Washington, D.C. Looking forward to their wedding in October!
I had an awesome time with Valanda and Darryl the other weekend for their engagement shoot. We opted for an early morning session throughout the National Mall. It was great shooting around the Smithsonian Castle, Washington Monument, and the U.S. Capital. This area is having some of the highest temperatures on record, so by the time we finish up it was scorching!
Just a few days ago I had an exciting opportunity to shoot a local Washington DC band, Modern Thieves. I teamed up with Amy Willard who is quite the band & concert photographer. We met up without a plan, collaborated on some ideas throughout the night and overall everything went great. Although we originally intended to shoot off the Pentagon City rooftop overlooking the Pentagon, we quickly got booted from the ‘high security’ location. Luckily Amy had the idea to shoot at the nearby Air Force Memorial.
This alternative location served us even better and considering how late in the evening it was we were able to pull off some pretty cool shots. I’m looking forward to working with additional bands in the future. Be sure to contact me if your group needs promotion material.
Here are just a few of my favorites:
A few night ago I was hired to shoot a large scale ‘Bollywood Hollywood’ themed celebration in central Washington D.C. The event was held at The Hudson. A red carpet, live coverage, interviewers, ‘entertainers’, models, you name it! The night got started rather quickly and before I knew it everyone was having the time of their life. Check out a few of the photos.
